Welcome to Rafael Canizares Flamenco Guitar School

In the School of Flamenco guitar classes starting at the zero level through elementary-core gradually until it reaches the courses, intermediate, advanced and superior.

The schedule of programming that then explain this in order to substantiate that students reach the goals set for each stage of their training.

The classes will be presented in conjunction with sheet music notation of the tablature for better study and memorization.

This brings the advantage of being able to have extra work to study it at home. The scores are given in a PDF file.

Likewise the music of all examples of the same will be recorded and transmitted via a pen-drive from a computer with USB power supply, etc card.

The kinds of practices vocal accompaniment will be conducted with the help of a professional singer in small groups.

Scheme programming * Overall objectives

• Check the level of knowledge and experience before tackling the new knowledge, for an assessment as objective as possible and facilitate this way for content planning a more conscious, thorough and systematic way.
  
  
• Correct any "technical flaws" to improve as much as possible your potential, avoiding a priori the deadlock resulting from misuse of the art instrumentation.
  
  
• Incorporating both theoretical and practical elements that enhance the rhythmic and melodic instrumental language through works (sticks) or specific passages (falsetas)
  
  
• Differentiate through hearing the main features of the styles submitted.
  
  
• Accompany singing analyzing wide range of styles (their harmonics, bars, rhythmic patterns, etc.)..
  

Note: These targets will be incorporated in its entirety in a personalized way throughout the learning process in the light of your previous knowledge, by adjusting the contents thereof to the musical ability and maturity of each student.

Methodology

• 1.1 - Repertoire "flamenco guitar in concert"

The schedule of solo repertoire will be based on traditional works of varying complexity of interpretation to stimulate and develop all your creative potential.

• 1.2 - Activity hearing
  
  Active listening to music more representative of flamenco guitar, encouraging the issuance of your assessments about the works heard and to influence more to enhance your ability to understand styles and musical aspects of the same.

• 1.3 - studies, exercises and mechanisms for the exercise of the art instrumentation
  
  The exercises will aim to promote the independence and flexibility of the fingers for extra security and cleaning in the execution of the works treated. These will include cover all the techniques necessary to combine expression and technique under one common denominator.)

Content: The study and application of new formulas will make up a greater degree of difficulty and require an additional commitment in the usual practice.
